Construction Details

• External: Red-Bronze cast body containing over 80% ingot copper.
  
  
• Internal: Stainless steel is used in the piston and sleeve. Lubrication of moving parts with Dow Corning 107 Silicone Compound. All seals tested for reliability at a temperature range of -40 to +450 F.
  
  
• Corrosion Resistance: The Tempera valve is highly resistant to calcium, lime, sulphur, iron, alkali and phosphorus as well as some commercial acids.

Fully automatic - no manual controls, regulating or adjustment needed. With only one moving part, the Tempera valve is designed to equalize the hot and cold water supply line pressures. If supply line pressures should fluctuate, the stainless steel piston will move just enough to compensate for the change in pressure and release water only at the preselected temperature.

May be installed at any point on 1/2" water supply line at any angle or position. It is not necessary that the Tempera valve be mounted level.

Easily flushed of foreign matter simply by removing the shower head and opening and closing the supply valves.

Holds a selected water temperature to within one degree from any constant hot water supply regardless of pressure changes elsewhere in the supply lines.

Use the tempera valve in homes, schools, gymnasiums, hotels photographic darkrooms, barber shops . . . wherever a close control over water temperature is required.

Complies with requirements of ANSI/ASSE 1016-90 for (type P) pressure balanced control valves.
