New Crater Lake Lodge has "Tubs With a View" Supplied by A-Ball Plumbing of Portland
PORTLAND, OREGON---As the new Crater Lake Lodge opens after its six-year, $15 miIlion renovation,
eight of its 71 rooms will feature claw footed bathtubs supplied by A-Ball Plumbing of Portland.
Crater Lake Lodge is the only facility with overnight accomodations at Crater Lake National Park.
During its renovation there was great attention paid to historical accuracy and the special bathtubs
are part of that emphasis.
The tubs are part of A-Ball PIumbing Supply's line of fine plumbing fixtures and supplies.
The faucets for the bath tubs, also supplied by A-Ball are from The Chicago Faucet Company,
one of the premier faucet manufacturers in the U.S.
According to Kent Frutiger, owner of A-Ball, "When we were contacted by the lodge about the
specialty tubs and fixtures they were seeking we knew Chicago Faucet, with its emphasis upon
historical integrity, was the answer. A-BaIl and Chicago Faucet are extremely grateful to the
the management group at the lodge for their interest in that integrity and tradition."
Superior bathing opportunities can be found in rooms 313, 314, 323, 326, 401, 405, 406 and 407 at
Crater Lake Lodge.
